We tried to take pictures of the girls the other day. As you can tell it didn't work out so great! We need to work on it. Trying to get both girls to look at the camera at the same time and smile just wasn't working.

Big Girl Bed!!!

We didn't want to buy another crib. So we decided to buy Brooklin a Big Girl Bed! We didn't know for sure how she would do. She loves it! Of course the first couple of nights were a little tough getting her to stay in her bed. But she does awesome. I am so proud of her. She is a very smart little girl and caught on really fast.
The morning that I was in the hospital after having Addelin this is what Greg woke up to! It was her 3rd night sleeping in her Big Girl Bed. She is so funny!

My brother's wife Kierste in Michigan is giving away a Quickutz Silhouette SD on her blog! We've been using the model before the SD for a couple years and love it!

The silhouette rocks the socks off of most other digital craft cutters. Brooklin is getting so big! She is a very busy little girl! She is learning a lot of new things. She is a very smart little girl. I always say I think she will be smart just like her dad! :) Greg is very smart and catches onto things very fast and soaks up everything like a sponge. Brooklin is the same way! :) I love it! We love teaching her new things.

I guessing watching mom vacuum the floor and playing with toys can make a little girl tired!

Brooklin learned to pull over the trash the other day! Greg and I couldn't help but grab the camera and take a few pictures. Of course I'm thinking hurry take the pictures it's making a mess! Maybe she was giving us a hint that she was hungry! :)
She has also learned to drink from a straw! She caught onto it so fast!!! Within about 3 tries she had it down! It is so cute! She loves it!

Things Brooklin Loves

I really need to post some pictures. I will soon!:) Brooklin has changed so much sense she was born. She is so cute and so much fun! We go for her 4th month check up this week! I can't believe how fast time goes by. We love her a lot!
These are a few things that she loves!
Her pink rattle! Greg calls it her talking rattle. She will put it in her mouth and just start chattering away. It is so cute. She doesn't do it with her other rattles just her pink one.
HerBinky! We would be lost without it that is for sure!
Going on walks! My friends and I try to go for walks in the evening so I put Brookin in her stroller and off we go.
Sitting up! She is trying so hard to sit up on her own. She can't quit do it but she sure tries.
Talking to her Uncle Robert on Skype! My brother Robert lives in St. George. The nights that his wife and my husband are at work Robert and I will skype.(it helps time go by faster while our spouses are at work):) Brooklin will look at the computer like she totally knows what is going on. The other night I was feeding her and I skyped my brother and as soon as she heard his voice she stopped eating and turned her head to try and find his voice.
Holding her own bottle! I taught her to hold her own bottle. She does a pretty good job. The other night I was feeding her and she kept getting upset. She was holding her bottle and I was trying to help her. She kept getting upset. So I let go of the bottle and she was just fine and finished eating. I guess she didn't want my help! :)
Baby Einstein! She loves watching Baby Einstein with her Dad in the morning! She will ignore you when it's on! It's so funny!

Brooklin loves a lot of things! She is a very happy little girl and has a beautiful smile!:)

Greg and I had been planning for about 2 weeks that we would be having our baby Dec 1st. When I was about 34 weeks pregnant we found out our baby was breech. The doctor wanted to wait it out to see if she would flip on her own. At the next few appointments our Dr. explained in more detail options that we had if she did not flip on her own. He decided the best option was to check to see if she was breech at each appointment, and if nothing had changed we would deliver on Dec. 1st. But she decided to be just like her father and not listen and do what she is told. On the other hand Greg would say is was being stubborn just like her mother.

The day before we were supposed to go to the hospital we were expecting a call from Labor and Delivery to confirm our appointment. After running some errands and couch shopping with Greg's parents we got home our 5:00 and still had not heard anything. We called Labor and Delivery and according to them we were scheduled for Dec. 2nd. I got off the phone and told Greg about it and he said we are showing up anyway! I called the Women's Center and the doctors notes had Dec 1st and the nurse had Dec 2nd, so they straightened everything out and we were back to Dec 1st. This time we had a 10 am appointment instead of a 5 am and to arrive fasting now 5 hours longer!

We started out in Labor and Delivery where they hooked me up to an IV and gave me a drug to relax my uterus. The doctor got on one side and the nurse on the other and they pushed on my stomach to try and get her to turn. First they tried to get her to do a forward somersault and then a backwards somersault. They could not get her to turn either way. They had Greg change into some scrubs and we walked down the hall to the L&D OR to do a C-Section.

Everything went really smooth. Brooklin was born at 1:01 p.m. on Dec 1st weighting in at 8pounds 1 ounce 19 inches. We are very happy to have a cute healthy baby girl!

Greg and I, Sara and Nic and Alison and Nate. We had fun at Sara and Nic's house for Halloween! We made homemade pizza (i even did the crust by scratch):) and homemade ice cream! We had fun hanging out and watching a movie! It was a fun Halloween!

So this year for Halloween Greg and I decided to be Humpty Dumpty! Greg talked me into painting my stomach! I will admit I wasn't to sure about it at first! So we painted each others stomachs and it was fun!

It was a really nice day today! Lately I have been sick of being inside! Working inside all day and then being at home at night I was ready to be outside! The weather has been so nice lately! So I got home from work and said Greg lets go! He had a few hours before he went to work so we went to second dam! It was fun! The weather was nice and it was good to be out!

I was trying so hard not to laugh in this picture! I can't remember why but Greg did something and I almost started laughing so I was trying really hard to hold it in!

Logan Temple

Reading at the Temple! I teach the 11-12 year old sunday school class at church. Greg came and taught with me one week because my team teacher was gone. This year we are teaching from the D&C. The lesson we taught that had to do with temples. So at the end of the lesson we challenged the class to have a family home evening at the temple and read there scriptures as a family. We told the class we would do it also! It was fun! We has to take a picture it was a really nice evening and I thought the temple looked little pretty! :)

Pizza Time!!!! Greg was at work and saw this Jamaican Jerk sauce/marinade. So he called and asked if i wanted to make pizza for dinner. We like trying new things! Homemade pizza is always fun to make! It reminds me of when I was little and my brother Rick making it. (i'm not sure if he remembers) I even made the crust homemade! Greg and I had fun making it together! :)
Time to eat!!!! It turned out really good! Better then I thought!

Family Night

For Family Home Evening we went out to dinner and played mini golf with Greg's family! It was so much fun!!! We all had a lot of fun and we all did good at mini golf! :)

Family Night/St.George

Greg and I went to the batting cages for family night! It was a lot of fun! We didn't do as well as we thought! But we still had a lot of fun! :)

In May we went to St. George! One of my friends was coming home from her mission so we went down for that. While we were there my cute niece Brylee had her first birthday! Greg and I got her this BIG ball to play outside with in the water. She isn't sure about it we know it will take awhile to get used to! Her mom made her her own birthday cake! We all thought she would dig right in and love it! Well you can tell by that face what she thought! It was so funny! She is so cute! We love her a lot she is so much fun!

Our cute flowers!!! Greg's family came over for family night and we planted flowers outside of out house! It was a lot of fun and the flowers look great!!! :) Greg loves to water them! It's the first thing he thinks of in the morning is right before he goes to work is to water the flowers! He is so cute!!! :)

What We Have Been Up To

Greg and I got to go to Saturday afternoon of General Conference! It was a lot of fun! I had never been to Conference in the Conference Center so I was really excited. Of course we all love to chill at home in our comfy pj's to watch conference. (at least that's how I usually watch it):) But it was nice to be in that beautiful building!
The hotel that we stayed in on one of the pictures in the room it had a pass along card hooked in the corner of it. We thought it was kinda funny!
The Morning of Conference! It's kinda hard to tell that we have banana's in our hands! But we thought our hotel looked like a big banana! From the outside you would not guess it but it was a way nice hotel!
We also went to the Draper Temple Open House!!!! We had to take a picture from the back of the Temple because there was so many people and how they had it set up to go in. It's a beautiful Temple and I'm very glad that we live close enough that we could attend.
Greg loves IKEA!!! I love it also! (but i think he loves it more) :) We both have a lot of fun going there just to look around! So on the way home from the Draper Temple Open House we stopped at IKEA! For those of you that have not been there I think you should go sometime when you get a chance! It's HUGE so plan to take awhile!!! :)

My brother and his family came to visit us a couple of weeks ago. It was alot of fun. There daughter Kila was turning 9 years old they day that they were traveling home. So we had Greg take her to do somethings for a few hours while Leslie (her my mom) and I got ready for her surprise Hannah Montana party. She was excited! It was alot of fun!

One of the gifts we got for Christmas was a GRILL!!!! We were so excited!!! Greg's dad tricked us pretty good. On Christmas Eve he told that he needed our help to go get a Christmas present out of Gma and Gpa garage for Quinn (Greg's brother). He said it was heavy and kinda big so we needed to meet him at Gma and Gpa with our truck. So we meet him there and there was a heavy box all wrapped. We asked him what it was and he told us that he couldn't tells us. So we helped him get it to the house and next to the tree. Christmas morning came and we were all opening presents. Then it came time for Quinn to open this big present. Little did we know the big present was for us! We pulled of the paper and there was the GRILL!!!!! We so excited!!!! Greg loves to grill and I love it also!!!

A little of everything

The fun of owning your own home! A couple of days ago Greg woke up about 7a.m. to get ready for work. A few mins later he comes back in the room and wakes me saying we have problem! Half asleep I was like what do you mean? He was like none of the water will turn on in the house! I was like yeah right thats not funny! He was like I'm being serious all our pipes must have froze last night the heat tape didnt work right! I was like oh shoot you better call your dad and ask him what we do. So his dad told us what we needed to do to unfreeze the pipes. We were really grateful that his parents have all the things that we need to go under our trailer to fix it. So we got bundled up (sence it was only 2 degrees outside)went to his parents got what we needed. Greg crawled under the trailer and with in like 40mins we had water!
They snow has come that is for sure!!! It has got pretty cold!

Greg and Elli! Elli had a piano performance about a week ago. Greg and Elli played 2 songs together! They did a great job!
Gma and Gpa Godfrey in there room at the MTC! They got Called to Serve a mission in Africa for 18months! We are so excited for them! They will be missed alot! They left for the MTC the first part of Dec. They will do a great job in Africa! Before Greg and I got married I lived with them for 6 weeks! I loved it! I was very grateful that they took me in and I was able to get to know them before they left. They are very neat people that I love alot!
